Title: Abnormal expression of tumor suppressor genes PTEN and P53 in endometrial carcinoma.
Abstract: Objective To study the abnormal expression and it's clinical significance of tumor suppressor genes PTEN and P53 in endomatrial carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of PTEN and P53 in 20 cases of simple hyperplasia,20 cases of complex atypical hyperplasia,35 cases of endometrial carcinoma. Results The loss expression rate of PTEN and the positive rate of P53 in simple hyperplasia, complex atypical hyperplasia, endometrial carcinoma were gradually increased. In endomertrial carcinoma the loss of PTEN expression and the positive rate of P53 was significantly related to the cell grade(P0.05).Conclusion PTEN and P53 may play some roles in the carcinogenesis and development of endometrial carcinoma.
