First several kinds of time synchronization algorithms for WSNs are introduced in detail, then by comparing them, figure out the advantages and disadvantages of each kind re- spectively. In the end, a time synchronization algorithm based on changeable cycle is proposed. This algorithm use the advanced reference broadcast synchronization to estimate the clock drift and clock offset, and then adjust the next synchronized cycle dynamic based on those two estimated parameters so as to decrease the synchronization times as well as reduce the energy consumption.Read More
