Title: Influence of blade thickness on regenerative blower's blade noise
Abstract: A regenerative blower's inner flow field was simulated by using a three-dimensional CFD model,and the face dynamic pressure fluctuation of each blade was attained. Then,by solving the FW-H equation the far field aerodynamic noise of each blade was calculated. Taking a blade's dynamic pressure as excitation source,the vibration noise radiated by the blade was calculated. The calculation results showed that the aerodynamic noise of a blade keeps from varying when its thickness is within a range of 1 ~4 mm; the vibration noise of a blade obviously increase with decrease in its thickness; the noise of a blade is mainly the aerodynamic one,its vibration noise or structural noise can be negligible.
