Abstract: After Prince Wei died by the witchcraft,Emperor of the Han dynasty realized that Prince Wei was innocent.However,the fact that the prince organized the fight against the emperor,and the political taboos that was easy to occur at the time of power replacement,what Emperor of the Han dynasty was merely able to do was to partly recover the prince's reputation.The death of Prince Wei was the prerequisite for Emperor Zhaodi's ascending the throne,which led to Huo Guang's secretly returning the prince's royal status,and this was very important to further recovering Prince Wei's reputation.After Emperor Xuandi ascended the throne,he cooperated with Huo Guang to set up the orthodox of Wudi,to reach this aim,Xuandi recovered the title of the prince to his grandfather(Prince Wei) on the prerequisite of obeying the principles about inheritance institutions.Shortly afterwards,the orthodox of Emperor Wudi was set up.
