Title: Preparation of TiO_2 nanofibres and influence of calcination temperature on photocatalytic activity
Abstract: The TiO2 nanofibres with photocatalytic efficiency are prepared by sol-gel and electrospinning methods as well as calcined at different temperatures (350, 400 and 450 ℃, respectively) with Ti(OC4H9)4 and PVP as raw materials. The structures and morphologies of the TiO2 fibers are characterized by scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction, both FTIR and photocatalytic measurements on Rhodamine B solution are performed to investigate the effect of calcinate temperature on photocatalytic efficiency. Results show that the photocatalytic TiO2 fibres are obtained, and the TiO2 fibres calcined at 400 ℃ possess the optimal photocatalytic efficiency (photocatylytic rate reaches 56.92%) in all the prepared samples.
