Title: Control of Three-phase to Single-phase Matrix Converter's Input Current Angle Compensation
Abstract: A three-phase to single-phase matrix converter input current and input filter introduce a phase difference between the input current before and after the filter, which directly results in more input reactive power. To reduce input reactive power,a phase difference between grid side input current and main circuit side input current algorithm was proposed, amplitudes of input voltage and current can be used to compensate the displacement angle to reach the same phase.MC closed-loop control method based on input current angle compensation was presented, and the expression and detailed analyses for compensating angle were carried out.The validity of proposed method was verified by simulation. It shows that input reactive power can be reduced in any load condition by this control method.
