Title: The clinic value of ultrasonography in drug induced abortion for early pregnancy
Abstract: Objective: To probe the clinic value of ultrasonography in drug induced abortion for early pregnancy. Methods: To exclude the forbiden diseases of drug induced abortion and measure the average diameter of the gestational sacs to give a standing ultrasonographic examination to 1 064 early pregnant women with 49 days' menstruation pulse before the drug induced abortion. 1 025 cases of early pregnancy were observed by divide them into different groups according to their record of pregnancy and birth giving and the sizes of the gestational sacs. Results: (1) The ultrosonographic diagnosis found out:before undergoing the drug induced abortion, 39 of 1064 cases were not fit for this way, namely, 7 cases of ectopic pregnancy, 11 cases of pregnancy with birth-giving controlling rings, 1 case of hydatidiform mole, 11 cases with gestational sacs with the diameters over 30 mm and 9 women were found out not to have gestational sacs inside their uterine canals. (2) The complete abortion rate of the women with the first pregnancy that amounts to 97. 82% was much higher than that of the women who has the experience of birth giving that amounts to 87. 08% (P0.05) , The complete abortion rate of different cases were recorded as following 96. 35% for gestational sacs smacker than 10 mm, 89. 31% for gestational sacs between 10 and 20 mm, 77. 91% for gestational sacs between 20 and 25 mm , there were statistic differences (P0.05) . (3) The ultrasonographic image features of the restidue of embryo in the in complete abortion were very clear and the accuracy of coincidence with the pathological diagnosis after clearing up the uterine canal amounts to 96. 08%. Conclusion:(1) To raise the rate of drug induced abortion success, with the original pregnancy and women with short pregnancy should be chosen for this way. (2) Ultrosonography examination can effectively monitor the whole course of drug induced abortion.and it can quickly and accurately diagnose the restidue tissue of the embryo in the uterine canal and it can also provide reliable technological supporting for the clinic drug induced abortion.
