Title: Designing of Robust IMC-PID Controller for Time Delay System
Abstract: Firstly,the boundary of model uncertainty description is obtained by using first-order Pade approximation for no accurate FOPDT object.Then,the filter coefficients region of IMC is calculated to meet the demands of robustness.Lastly,according to the equivalent feedback structure,an analytical method for determining PID parameters is applied basing on IMC principle.The proposed method avoids the complexity of conventional tuning PID controller,and thus provides a convenient approach for the design of PID controller of time delay system.The simulation results demonstrate the validity of this method.
