Title: Advances in Study on Telomerase of Esophageal Carcinoma
Abstract: Telomerase is an essential ribonucleoprotein reverse transcriptase that adds telomeric DNA to the end of eukaryotic chromosome.The shortening of telomere length is the main cause for apoptosis.It has been reported that telomerase plays an important role in the progression of many cancers.This article reviewed the structural features of telomerase and the advances in study on telomerase of esophageal carcinoma.
