Title: A Case of Atypical Juvenile Pityriasis Rubra Pilaris
Abstract: A 13-month-old boy presented with 10 months of palmoplantar keratoderma and 9 months of scaly itching erythematous patches on his face,neck,axillae,groins and buttocks. There are similar patients in his family. Histopathological examination obtained from right buttock showed hyperkeratosis,focal parakeratosis; increased thickness of the granular layer and acanthosis; broadening epidermal rete ridges; dilation of papillary vessels and perivascular lymphocyte infiltration in the dermis. Diagnosis:atypical juvenile pityriasis rubra pilaris.
