Title: Short-latency somatosensory evoked potentials, flash visual evoked potentials and early prognosis in patients with cerebral hemor-rhage
Abstract: Objective We attempt to probe into the correlation of short-latency somatosensory evoked potentials(SLSEP)and flash evoked potentials(F-VEP)in 48hours after onset with the early outcome of cerebral hemorrhage.Method In 81patients with cerebral hemorrh age ,SLSEP and F-VEP were respected withi n 48hours after onset of cerebral hem orrhage.Meantime, patients were graded with GCS.When leaving hospital or dying, the patie nts were graded with Glascow outcome scale(GOS).Result There was a closed correlation betwe en SLSEP,F-VEP and outcome of cerebral hemorrhage. Conclusion It is concluded that SLSEP and F-VEP c an be valuable for the early prognosis of cerebral hemorrhage.
