Title: EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE ON CURING PROCESS AND PROPERTIES OF CF/VE COMPOSITES
Abstract: The isothermal curing of carbon fiber /vinyl ester(CF/VE) composites is scanned by Dynamic Mechanical Thermal Analyzer(DMTA) and Differential Scanning Calorimeter((DSC)) at different temperature and then,the post curing is rescanned by DSC and composites are scanned by DMTA after isothermally curing with and without post cure.Composite samples are made and LISS conducted.The results show that microheterogeneity will occur when the isothermal curing temperature is low and post cure can improve LISS of isothermal cured composites by 55.64% when the isothermal curing temperature is 90℃.However,the post cure doesn't work if the isothermal curing temperature is 120℃.
