The results show that,desor...Desorption of PAHs in sludge from sedimentation and filter of a drinking water plant in Nanjing city was studied after sorption of 16 PAHs of low concentration(1 000 ng/L). The results show that,desorption quantity of HMW(4-6 rings) PAHs monomer is relatively low,which is less than 15 ng/g; desorption quantity of LMW(2-3 rings) PAHs monomer is 32.18~88.15 ng/g,which accounts for 16% to 45% of sorption amount; desorption quantity of LMW PAHs is relatively large between 0 h and12 h,accounting for 40% to 90% of total desorption. Between 12 h and 60 h,desorption rate reduces. Desorption equilibrium of PAHs is established between sludge and water after 60 h,and its concentration remains stable. Desorption amount of LMW PAHs increases with temperature increasing. Desorption quantity of monomers under the condition of 15 ℃ is 0.95 to 2.15 times as much as that under 5 ℃. Compared with desorption quantity under 15 ℃,desorption quantity under 20 ℃ increases by 7% ~ 41%.Read More
