Title: Stochastic Resonance for a Loss-Noise Model of the Single-Mode Laser Calculated Via Improved Linear Approximation Method
Abstract: A single-mode laser driven by the colored pump noise and quantum noise with cross-correlation between the real and imaginary parts is considered.By means of an improved linear approximation method to deal with two noise terms in the model,we calculate the output intensity power and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) of laser system are calculated.The research also discusses the effects of the net gain coefficients,noise intensity and signal on the curve of SNR versus cross-correlation coefficient between the real and imaginary parts of pump noise(λ).A new form of stochastic resonance is found in model.
