Title: Value of 3D reconstruction with multi-slice CT in the diagnosis of acute cervical vertebrae injuries
Abstract: Objective To study the value of 3D reconstruction with spiral CT in in the diagnosis of acute cervical vertebrae injuries. Methods The images of 3D reconstruction with multi-slice CT of 18 cases of acute cervical vertebrae injuries pathology were analyzed and compared with images of axial CT.Results In the 18 cases, there were 5 cases of upper cervical spine dislocations without fractures, and 13 cases of cervical spinal fractures (in which 4 cases combined with upper cervical spine dislocations,3 cases combined with lower cervical spine rotation /dislocation).Conclusion The application of 3D reconstruction images base on axial spiral CT images, will contribute to accurate evaluation in acute cervical vertebrae injuries, avoiding inaccurate and failing diagnosis.
