Title: The diagnostic value of coronary artery with abnormal origin and the wall coronary artery by 16-row CT
Abstract: Objective To discuss the clinical value of diagnosis of the coronary with abnormal origin and the wall coronary by 16-row CT coronary arteriongraphy. Methods To analyse retrospectively the CT manifestation of 6 cases of the coronary with abnormal origin and 2 cases of the wall coronary. The retrospective electrocardio-gating,automatic follow, 0.5s pitch scaning and single or double sector rebuilding were used in the 16-row CT coronary arteriography. Results It can display the coronary with abnormal origin and the wall coronary clearly. Four cases of the anterior and 1 of the posterior were approved by catheter coronary arteriography. Four cases of the right coronary root in the left coronary sinus, 1 root in the anterior wall of ascending aorta above the right coronary sinus and 1 case the obtuse marginal branch of left circumflex branch root in the posterior descending branch of right coronary. The CT manifestation of the wall coronary: The segment of the coronary is relatively tetanic and exiguous, goes through the cardiac muscle and no atheromatous focus in the cavity. There is no fat spacing between the coronary and cardiac muscle. Conclusion 16-row CT is of important clinical value to the diagnosis of the coronary with abnormal origin. It can partially replace the catheter coronary arteriography. It’s the best imageology examination at present in the diagnosis of the wall coronary, which makes up for the shortage of the catheter coronary arteriography.
