Abstract:As a typical multi-superimposed basin,Tarim Basin has undergone Indosinian,Yanshan and Himalayan movements since the Mesozoic,which resulted in the great different structural patterns between the Meso...As a typical multi-superimposed basin,Tarim Basin has undergone Indosinian,Yanshan and Himalayan movements since the Mesozoic,which resulted in the great different structural patterns between the Mesozoic-Cenozoic and the Paleozoic.Based on an integrated analysis of the aeromagnetic,gravity,drilling,logging and seismic data,the Mesozoic-Cenozoic stratigraphic distribution,structural deformation styles and petroliferous features have been obtained.Considering the pre-Mesozoic basement form and late reformation,the Mesozoic-Cenozoic in Tarim Basin can be divided into five structural units,i.e.the north depression,the southwest depression,the southeast depression,the central uplift and the northeast slope,which consists of eleven subunits of structures.Clearly,this division is very significant for the exploration of secondary reservoirs and subtle reservoirs in the Mesozoic-Cenozoic.Read More
