Title: Influence of "China's Capital Holiday Tourism Circle" on Spatial Variation of Tourism of Chengde City
Abstract: The transformation of tourism space,which is related to the decisionmaking of the area tourism development,is considered as one of the key issues of tourism development strategy and also serves as the basis on which the exploration of tourism,the spatial distribution and organization of key projects and the arrangement of tour routes are sought to be developed.Chengde City has a long history of cultural tourism,while the poor traffic to outside has turned out to be a bottleneck in its development.However,its location advantage,as one of the regions in China's Capital Holiday Tourism Circle(CCHTC) is substantially featured by the structure change of tourism products and development pattern in the context of the leisure tourism boom in China.CCHTC is one of nine key areas of Chinese tourism industry in the period of the 11th five-year project.In this article,Distance Decline of Tourist Flow model was used to define the CCHTC.CCHTC,taking Beijing as the center,refers to the area that can provide service for the tourists from Beijing and its neighboring cities such as Tianjin during weekend and holiday.And it covers the maximal area where the tourists are willing to travel.This article discussed the influence upon Chengde tourism spatial distribution from three aspects: the transformation from sightseeing to leisure markets,the location advantage and the establishment of the speedway.A new tourism structure with a central heritage area and two natural areas was also established.
