Title: Dynamic Performance Research on Modified Zeolite Adsorption of Methyl Red
Abstract: Based on the sodium dodecyl sulfate( SDS) modification of zeolite,the adsorption of modified zeolite on methyl red is demonstrated to analyze the best adsorption condition with UV spectrophotometer.The experimental results show that the best investment of SDS zeolite adsorption of methyl red is 0.25 g,adsorption time is 20 min and the adsorption rate is 91.7%.In addition,adsorption quantity increases with the increase of initial concentration of methyl red solution and the adsorption capacity reaches the maximum when the concentration of methyl red reaches 0.08 mg / L.Moreover,the modified zeolite adsorption of methyl red largely conforms in line with the first order kinetics model,which indicates that the process reveals chemical adsorption and the adsorption activation energy are small.
