Title: A Clinical Study of the Combination of Lamivudine and Adefovir Dipivoxil in the Treatment of Hepatitis B Cirrhosis
Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the curative effect of the combination of lamivudine and adefovir dipivoxil in the treatment of the hepatitis B cirrhosis.Methods: From January 2005 to August 2010,134 patients with hepatitis B cirrhosis were randomly divided into group A(n=67)treated with the combination of lamivudine and adefovir dipivoxil and group B(n=67)treated with adefovir dipivoxil alone.After treatment,the diameter of the portal vein,the thickness of spleen and the level of serum hepatitis B virus DNA were recorded and analysized.Results: In group A,the diameter of the portal vein,the thickness of spleen and the level of serum hepatitis B virus DNA were all superior to those in group B.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: In the treatment of hepatitis B cirrhosis,application of combination of lamivudine and adefovir dipivoxil can result superior outcomes and promote the liver function as well.
