Title: Chemical constituents of the seeds of Cuscuta chinensis Lam.
Abstract: Objective To study the chemical constituents of Cuscuta chinensis Lam.Methods The compounds were separated by the chromatography methods,and their structures were identified by spectral analyses.Results Nine compounds were isolated and identified as octadecyl(E)-p-coumarate(1),methyl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-5-hydroxycinnamate(2),kaempferol(3),astragalin(4),hyperoside(5),astragalin 6″-O-gallate(6),quercetin-3-O-(6″-galloyl)-β-D-glucoside(7),β-sitosterol(8)and daucosterol(9).Conclusions Compounds 1,2,6 and 7 are obtained from this genus for the first time.
