Title: Polymorphism Research of Microsatellite Loci in Six Local Breeds of Sheep and Goat in Shanxi Province
Abstract: Five microsatellite DNA markers were used to study the microsatellite DNA diversity of six local breeds of sheep and goat,the results showed that the average heterozygosity of six local breeds was between 0.6711 and 0.8316,the average of polymorphism information content was between 0.6152 and 0.7982,the average number of alleles was between 6.4 and 9.2,the average effective number of alleles ranged from 3.81~6.05;the average genetic differentiation coefficient of five microsatellite loci among total population was 0.1507.A dendrogram of genetic relationship which was constructed using UPGMA method based on the standard genetic distance showed that all the six local breeds of sheep and goat were classified into two cluster groups,the first was Licheng grey goat and Yangcheng white goat got together with Lvliang black goat,then got together with Hongtong dairy goat,the second was native sheep and Guangling large-tailed goat.
