Title: Thrombectomy Combined with Thrombolysis Therapy for Deep Venous Thrombosis of Lower Extremities:28 Cases Report
Abstract: Objective To value the effect of surgical thrombectomy combined with thrombolytic therapy for deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities. Method 28 patients with deep venous thrombosis of lower extremities admitted from November 1996 to February 2003 were retrospectively analyzed. The combined managements were surgical thrombectomy, anticoagulation or antiagglutination therapy, and maintenance therapy. Results All the surgical operations succeeded without perioperative complication such as hemorrhage or pulmonary embolism. No patient died. All the patients received ascending venography after 2 weeks and showed 6 blood stream completely smooth, 22 uncompletely smooth, 5 great saphenous femoral vein shunt smooth. The clinical symptoms dissappered in 23 cases. 25 patients were followed up for 4~28 months (mean 18.6 months) and 5 cases left post thrombotic syndrome. Conclusions The integrated therapy can decrease the morbidity of deep venous thrombosis sequal with satisfied short term effect.
