Title: A few Explains of The notes on Analects of Confucius by Zhengxuan
Abstract: The notes on Analects of Confucius written by Zhengxuan in Donghan Dynasty has been scattered and disappeared since Tang Dynasty. After the 20th century, some dilapidated volumes of Zhengxuan's notes hand-copied in Tang Dynasty have beeen found. In which a large quantities of explanations about the notes and commentaries on Analects of Confucius different from the handed down edition were preserved. They provide precious data to understand Han Dynasty and Zhengxuan, s study on Analects of Confucius. This article compiles some clauses of Zheng's notes, which were testified and compared with the handed down notes and commentaries. Some features of the study Confucianist classics written in scripts before the Qin Dynasty school are believed to be reflected in Zheng's notes on Analects of Confucius.
