Title: Study of Vibration Mode Characteristic of Multi-Cabin Shell in Different Media
Abstract: The computation method of characteristics of vibration mode considering the fluid-structure coupling effect is studied.Then a typical complicated multi-cabin shell structure,relatively similar to real structure,is designed.FE modeling and analysis of vibration modes of the typical multi-cabin model both in the air and water are carried out.The difference between the dry and wet modes is found.The results show that in different media the vibration characteristics of the typical multi-cabin shell differ from one another greatly.The first frequency of vertical vibration mode in the water reduces 30% compared with that in the air.The mode shapes intervene each other,and the attached water mass of different modes is related to the mode shape of the structure.
