The microalga grew better on acetate than glucose and other carbons in both growth modes. The optimum growth concentration of acetate in mixotrophic and heterophic were 0.5- l.0g / L and l.0-l.5g/ L respectively. The average growth rates of Anxotrophjc and heterophic were 0.72d~-1 and 0.53d-1 respectively. After cultured for 8 days, the cell dry weight of mixotrophic and heterotrophic were 0.65g / L and 0.32g / L respectively. Compared with phototrophic (control), the average growth rate and cell dry weight of mixotrophic increased, but in heterotrophic, they decreased.Read More
