Title: A debate over Liang Qichao's view of the public morality from private morality
Abstract: It is claimed in the paper that Liang Qichao's view of the public morality from private morality ignores the rules of the growth and formation of the public morality, oversimplifying the relations of both moralities. So it is argued that the distinction should not neglect or defy the inner natures concerning objects, adaptability, and moral norms. It is observed in history and reality that both public and private moralities reflect the social benefits,in particular, the specific products in exchange, each with its distinctive feature. And it is concluded that a critical study is significant of Liang Qichao's view of the morality for the current construction of Chinese public morality.
