Methods In total of 141 prevention medical students of the fifth grade from two universities were sampled, and self-designed questionnaire was used. Results The proportions of understanding in questionnaire testing property, steps in questionnaire survey and influencing factors of questionnaire-survey results were 80.8%, 75.9% and 61.0%, respectively. 65.2% students answered 'grasping completely' or 'grasping basically' the principles of questionnaire-survey technique. Average times of participating in questionnaire-survey design, implementation and result analysis were 1.75±1.66, 1.71±1.38 and 1.41±1.07, respectively. The average sample size of finishing questionnaire-survey was 421.65±358.21. Students thought questionnaire-survey technique 'having a larger role in health information collection'accounted for 78.2%. 78.7% students considered the questionnaire-survey result 'true' or 'relatively true'. 62.4%of students thought the questionnaire survey 'difficult' or 'relatively difficult' in conducting, and design and implementation were considered as the difficult steps in questionnaire-survey. The above indicators had no statistical difference between universities. Conclusion Cross-subjects theories on technique need teachers to help students summarize. Instruction on the phases of design and field-work in questionnaire-survey needs to be strengthened.Read More
