Title: Analysis on the Genetic Diversity among 31 Species of Dendrobium Based on RAPD Marker
Abstract: The experiment analyzed the genetic diversity among 31 species of Dendrobium with Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA(RAPD).In total,1802 bands were amplified by 18 RAPD primers, resulting from 261 RAPD loci with 99.2% polymorphism at genus level.Unweighted pair group mean analysis(UPGMA) show that the genetic similarity ranged from 0.642 to 0.838,and the materials used in the experiment are grouped into seven clusters. The cluster analysis show that the materials are completely separated, the result of the experiment is basically similar to the traditional morphological classification, but there are some differences. The high polymorphism and reliable amplification across species demonstrate that RAPD can be used to identify the species of Dendrobium and genetic diversity.
