Title: On analysis of stability of rock slope by finite element strength reduction method
Abstract: This paper mainly based on finite element strength reduction method,using ANSYS finite element software,analysis the stability of rock side slope under the crustal stress.D-P yield criterion is selected to calculate the non-convergence and the connectivity of plastic zone as the criterion of side slope instability according to the displacement of the side slope.Concludes the safety coefficient of the slope and its damage sliding surface.Through comparing the ripe limit equilibrium method,proved the rationality of rock side slope stability safety factor,thus explained the superiority of finite element strength reduction method in the analysis of the stability of rock side slope.
