The effect of media components, moisture content, p H and the light on mycelial growth in solid culture of A. camphorata were studied in the article by use of sawdust media and PDA media. A. camphorata mycelia could grow well in the media of which the substrate were sawdust and wheat bran(or rice straw). The suitable p H of PDA media for mycelia growth was 4~8. The addition of 3%~5% calcium superphosphate to the media promoted the growth of mycelia. However, there's no significant difference of growth rate under light or dark condition, mycelia grew better under dark condition and produced more conidiophore. This research discovered the optimal media components, moisture content and p H for solid culture of A. camphorata mycelium, and A. camphorata mycelia grew better under dark condition than light.Read More
