Title: Research on Rainfall Erosion and Hydrological Processes of Red Soil Land-Slope
Abstract: Slope erosion, infiltration process and water content distribution were studied for red soils artificial simulated rainfall experiments in indoors. The results showed that the initial runoff-yielding time without interflow was faster about 13 min than with interflow. Interflow legged behind surface runoff on the whole process. Runoff intensity of no interflow condition was lower than that of interflow condition. Interflow runoff intensity was lower than surface runoff intensity. Sediment yields without interflow condition were lower than with interflow except peaking values. The surface initial infiltration rate and infiltration time without interflow condition were higher than with interflow. Water content gradually decreased in 0 ~ 5 cm depth, and increased in 5 ~ 25 cm depth for without interflow condition and decreased in 0 ~ 10 cm depth and increased 10 ~ 25 cm depth with interflow condition. The water contents below 5 cm depth for without interflow condition were higher than those with interflow condition. Water content changes under both conditions were weak variation and larger in 15 ~ 30 cm depth.
