Abstract:The δ13C,δ2H values in chickens,the δ13C values in feed and the δ18O values in water were analysed by stable isotope mass spectrometry,and the relationship of stable isotope composition and feed,water...The δ13C,δ2H values in chickens,the δ13C values in feed and the δ18O values in water were analysed by stable isotope mass spectrometry,and the relationship of stable isotope composition and feed,water were studied,which was providing a foundation of traceability technique for animal products.The δ13C,δ2H and δ18O values of the samples of chickens,feed and water collected from different regions were determined.The results showed that the δ13C values of chicken and feed were significantly correlated(r=0.782,P0.01),the δ2H values of chickens and the δ18O values were highly correlated(r=0.816,P0.01).It is confirmed that the feed and the geographical origin can be predicted by the use of the δ13C and δ18O values.Read More
