Title: Application of Short-term Intensive Insulin Aspart Therapy in Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetics
Abstract: Objective To investigate the efficacy and significance of insulin aspart(NovoRapid)and biphasic insulin aspart 30(NovoMixR30) therapies in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetics. Methods120 newly diagnosed type 2 diabetics were randomly divided into continuous subcutaneous insulin aspart infusion(CSII) group and thrice daily subcutaneous insulin NovoMixR30 injection group. Results After 4 weeks' treatment the levels of FBG,2 h PG,PBG and HbA1 c were significantly lower after therapy than before therapy in both groups(P 0. 01). The changes of HbA1 c,glycemic control time and daily insulin dosage were similar between the two treatment groups(P 0. 05) and have no statistical significance. Incidence rate of hypoglycemia showed no obvious difference between two groups( P 0. 05).Conclusion The short-term intensive insulin therapy of insulin aspart and biphasic insulin aspart 30 have similar efficacy and safety in controlling blood glucose, decreasing glycemic control time, reducing the daily insulin dose and the incidence rate of hypoglycemia.
