In the brine, corrosion rate of Q235 and 16Mn was relatively low and controlled by oxygen diffusion rate on the cathode. 304 and 430 stainless steels exposed to field brine suffered light pitting and crevice corrosion. Corrosion rate of T2, QSi3-1 in the brine was low and controlled by cathodic activation polarization, and their corrosion was uniform. L6 and LF6 immersed in the brine were in active state and showed serious pitting and crevice corrosion after exposed for 181d.Read More
