Title: Comparative study different methods of ultrasound guided prostate biopsy
Abstract: 【Objective】To evaluate the clinical value of different methods of ultrasound guided prostate biopsy.【Methods】A total of 54 patients with abnormal digital rectal examination(DRE) and(or) serum prostate specific antigen(PSA) levels of greater than 4.0 ng/mL and(or) abnormal checked by ultrasound were performed.Compared with pathology result different methods of transrectal ultrasound(TRUS) guided systematic prostate biopsy and six-core transrectal biopsy protocols. The comparison and analysis for these clinical involved the distribution of PDU grade, the sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value, negative predictive value.【Results】The positive rate of prostate biopsy was 57.4%(31/54).The sensitivity of the three different protocols(gray-scaleTRUS-targeted,PDU-targeted and combined use of these methods targeds biopsy plus systematic sixcore transrectal biopsy protocols) was 53.7%,53.7%,57.4%.【Conclusions】The combined use of Gray-scale TRUS-targeted,PDU-targeted plus systematic six-core transrectal biopsy protocols methods was sensitivity higher than other methods.
