It is a promising method, for no element meshes are needed in the numberical implementation of the method. It uses the moving least square approxionation as trail founction,and all integrals in the formulation are evaluated over regularly shaped sub-domains and their boundaries. The essential boundary conditions are easily imposed. Two typical numberical examples are presented to show the method and performance. The results show that high accuracy values of displacement and stress can be obtained by adding nodes, and that the size of sub-domain influences the result as illustrated in figures 5 and 6.Read More
