Abstract: The validity is a central concept of theory of argument or reasoning.But researches have shown that validity concept have had different meanings. Inductive validity, substantive validity, informal validity, pragmatical validity, relevant validity, rhetoric validity and conventional validity have been formed through modification or the restriction for classical validity. Different validity has been expounded for offering appropriate standard of assessment to general argument.
