Abstract:Objective:To determine the contents of salicylic acid and benzoic acid in Compound Redbud Bark and Salicylic Acid Solution by HPLC.Methods:Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column(4.6mm×250mm,5?m)was used with ...Objective:To determine the contents of salicylic acid and benzoic acid in Compound Redbud Bark and Salicylic Acid Solution by HPLC.Methods:Agilent Eclipse XDB-C18 column(4.6mm×250mm,5?m)was used with the mobile phase of a mixture of Methanol and 0.05mol.L-1 KH2PO4(50:50,adjusted the pH to 4.0 with phosphoric acid);the flow rate was 1.0mL/min-1;the column temperature was 30℃;the detection wavelength:240nm.Results:The sample and host were separated well by HPLC.The linear response range was 1.0~96.6μg·mL﹣1(r=0.9999)of salicylic acid and 2.0~160.3μg·mL﹣1(r=0.9998)of benzoic acid.The sample solution was steady within 10h.The average recoveries of salicylic acid and benzoic acid were 100.6%(n=6)and 99.6%(n=6),respectively.Conclusions:This method is simple,rapid,accurate and reliable and can used for the quality control of Compound Redbud Bark and Salicylic Acid Solution.Read More
