Abstract:After the interconnection of North China power grid with Northeast China power grid,the automatic generation control(AGC) of Southern Hebei power grid is operated by tie-line load and frequency bias c...After the interconnection of North China power grid with Northeast China power grid,the automatic generation control(AGC) of Southern Hebei power grid is operated by tie-line load and frequency bias control(TBC) mode.To ensure the stable and economic operation of power grid,the changes of AGC’s control objective and assessment criteria lead to the necessary modification of the control strategy of AGC.The authors analyze the active power regulation by AGC under flat tie-line control(FTC) and TBC modes and the possibly adopted control strategies under TBC mode.According to the test results an control strategy of AGC in Southern Hebei power grid under TBC mode,namely the combination regulation strategy of A1 and A2,is proposed.Actual operation experiences show that the proposed control strategy satisfies the control requirement of TBC mode.Read More
