Title: The Influence of Hypoxia on the Contents of Hemocyanin and Free Amino Acids and the Transport of Cu~(2+) of Litopenaeus vannamei
Abstract: This study was carried out in order to evaluate the effect of hypoxia on the contents of hemocyanin and free amino acids and the transport of Cu2+of white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei),The results showed that the hypoxia had significant effects on the contents of hemocyanin and free amino acids and the transport of Cu2+ of L.vannamei(P0.05).The hemocyanin content raised first and then decreased with a peak appeared at 12 hin first 36 h.After that,it decreased further to a level lower than that of the control from 36 to 48h,and finally returned to that of the control. The Cu2+content in plasma raised first, reaching the maximum at 6hand then tdecreased, touching the minimum at 48 h.The Cu2+content in hepatopancreas decreased after 6h,reaching the minimum in 12 hand maxizing in 48 h and stabilizing gradually then. The free amino acid content in hemolymph in 3.0mg/L DO group showed a most obvious change in 48 hand reaching the maximum at 24 h,then returned to that of the control at 48 h.The free amino acid content in hemolymph in 1.5mg/L DO group also showed a most obvious change in 72 h,reaching the maximum at 24 h,then decreased, but was always higher than that of control.Overall,as a multifunctional protein in shrimp hemolymph, hemocyanin plays an important role in the shrimp homeostasis.
