Title: Therapeuutic effect of Pioglitazone on lipid mobilism disorder rats induced with high-fat diet
Abstract: To study the effect of Pioglitazone on experimental lipid metabolism disorder model of rats induced by high-fat diet. 30 SD rats were randomly allocated into 3 groups;Model group ( n =10) fed with high fat diet, and treated group ( n =10) fed with high fat diet for 4 weeks added pioglitazone (10 mg·kg -1 ·d -1 ),and normal group ( n =10) fed with standard diet for 9 weeks and sacrificed. After 9 weeks, Model rats showed to be abdomen-form obesity and developed glucose -lipid metabolism disorder;Compeared with the model group ,liver moist weight? perirenal fat weight?Lee,s exponent?liver exponent and fat density of the treated group were (9.06±1.20)g vs(13.23±1.88)g?(2.12±0.55)g vs(4.24±1.11)g?(280.11±7.59)vs(295.89±9.36)?(3.02±0.31)% vs(4.09±0.36)%?(0.36±0.13)% vs(0.67± 0.15) %( P 0.01);The levels of TC?LDL-L?FFA were(1.99±0.51)vs(3.28±1.08)mmol/L?(1.16± 0.37) vs(2.17±0.82)mmol/L and(374.64±25.89)vs(463.63±22.39)μmol/L( P 0.01). [Conclution] Pioglitazone is effective in the treatment of glucose -lipid metabolism disorder rats induced with high-fat diet.
