Title: Clinical value of MRI in diagnosis of breast disease
Abstract: Objective:To evaluate the clinical value of magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) in diagnosis of breast disease. Methods: Fifty six patients with surgically and pathologically proved breast mass were analyzed retrospectively. Results: Contrast enhancement was used in 56 cases of breast disease, benign masses in 16 cases, malignant masses in 40 cases.Benign masses appeared mostly circular mass or similar circluar mass, the shape was regular, the border was smooth,on small structure and remarkable uniform enhancement (14/16) after enhanced scanning.Malignant masses appeared mostly inregular tubercle or mass, the border had part-leaf or small structure, and form enhancement (36/40) after enhanced scanning. Conclusion: MRI is an efficient imaging method to explore breast mass, enhanced scanning MRI can help diagnosis of benign masses or malignant masses of breast.
