Title: Theory of “Tragedy” in Aristotle's “Poetics” From the Perspective of Imitation Theory
Abstract: Aristotle's Poeticsplays a very important role in the domain of aesthetics and other fields,in which epic and tragedy are introduced where tragedyis of the core importance. Due to the change of history,many terminologies are lack of equivalent counterparts.This makes it more difficult to interpret the ancient Greek classics. A main research focus is what tragedyshould include and how to interpret which is also an arguable subject. It attempts to explore the tragedy theory in Poeticsfrom the perspective of imitation theory.
