Title: Effects of allitridum on apoptosis of anoxia-reoxygenation myocardium in rats
Abstract: Objective To investigate whether allitridum preconditioning has the protective effect on myocardial apoptosis.Methods Neonatal SD rat myocytes were cultured,then were divided into control(C) group,anoxia/reoxygenation(A/R) group,anoxia preconditioning(AP) group and allitridum pretreatment(G) group.group C was cultured in normal condition,group AP was pretreated with anoxia for 45min 24h before A/R operation,group G was pretreated with allitridum 24h(before) A/R operation.Then A/R,AP,G groups were cultured in anoxia condition for 3 hours,then reoxygenated for 1 hour.Malondialdehyde(MDA),lactate dehydrogenase(LDH),superoxide dismutase(SOD)and apoptosis index(AI) were measured in all groups.(Results)G and AP groups resulted in reduction in LDH and MDA(P0.01) and increase in SOD(P0.01) compared to A/R group.AI of group A/R was higher than that of AP,G,C groups(P0.01).Conclusion The(results) indicate that allitridum has the effect of protecting myocytes against anoxia/reoxygenation injury through decreasing myocardial apoptosis.
