Abstract:Coal characteristics study was carried on hard-to-burn Jincheng anthracite, which was aimed at the large amount of difficult burn-off anthracite and high carbon content of fly-ash in Hunan power plant...Coal characteristics study was carried on hard-to-burn Jincheng anthracite, which was aimed at the large amount of difficult burn-off anthracite and high carbon content of fly-ash in Hunan power plant.Experimental research was focused on the ratio of Jincheng anthracite coal and coal combustion styles.Results were showed that Jincheng anthracite was low volatile matter, middle-high calorific value, hard ignitability, hard-to burn-off, hard grindability.Carbon content of fly-ash was speedy increased with the increment of Jincheng anthracite ratio.Contrast test was carried on mixed in mill, combusted in furnace and milled separated, combusted in furnace under the same ratio of Jincheng anthracite, however milled separated, combusted in furnace was significantly dominated and carbon content of fly-ash reduced 1.37% on 320MW.Controlling the ratio of Jincheng anthracite and employing milled separated, combusted in furnace were the effective methods to reduce carbon content of fly-ash.Read More
