Title: Finite-element analysis of the piston-rod for automobile shock absorber based on UG/Structures
Abstract: The modeling of all the components,the demonstrating of the analysis of the distributing of the stress on the piston-rod with UGⅡ are introduced.There comes the conclusion that tension and compression cause the main loads of the piston-rod;the resistance it endures during the process of tension is higher than that during the process of compression;the shock absorber should be designed according to the maximum of tension;two ends of the piston-rod receive much higher stress than other parts.
