Title: Analysis of the Regional Industrial Economic Differences Measure in China's Coastal Areas
Abstract: The study of industrial economic differences in the three coastal regions-Bohai Economic Zone,Yangtze River Delta Economic Zone and South China Sea Economic Zone used the Theil index,with decomposition property,to measure the trends of 1998-2010 extent of industrial economy differences in China's coastal regions.Then a comparative analysis was made of the effect of industrial economic development of Beijing,Tianjin and Shanghai,the three municipalities,directly under the Central Government on the regional differences.The results showed that:the industrial economic regional differences in coastal areas had displayed a narrowing trend,internal differences were a major source of regional differences and as the regional economic growth pole,the three cities had significant impact on the regional differences in the industrial economy.
