Title: Corrosion-erosion Resistance of High Chromium Cast Iron Cr28 in Wet Parts of Slurry Pump in Alumina Ore
Abstract: A new high chromium cast iron Cr28 was designed,which is applied in wet parts of slurry pump in alumina ore,and the microstructures and properties in the as-cast and heat treatment state were studied.The results indicate that, compared with those of the as-cast Cr28,carbides disperse more uniformly and finer,and the hardness and impact toughness increase significantly.The experimental results show that,compared with that of Cr15Mo3,the corrosion-erosion resistance of Cr28 in the as-cast and heat treatment state increase significantly.and the Cr28 in heat treatment state has the lowest weight loss of corrosion-erosion,the relative ratio of corrosion-erosion of the Cr28 is 1.95 times as big as that of Cr15Mo3.The studies of corrosion-erosion synergistic effects with quantitative analyses method indicate that wear has an obvious promoted effect on corrosion which is above 99% of corrosion component in the synergistic effects between erosion and corrosion.However,corrosion has a limited promoted effect on wear,which is off 23% of corrosion component.With the increase of hardness of Cr15Mo3 and Cr28 in the hear treatment state,wear increment and the pure wear increment decrease The wear increment and the pure wear increment of casting Cr28 are lower than those of Cr15Mo3 although the hardness of casting Cr28 is lower than that of Cr15Mo3.
