This m...Based on the analysis of the relation between power system's capacity and reliability, a cost-benefit analysis method which optimizes the reliability of power system is presented in this paper. This method can be used to decide the optimized reliability of power system and its corresponding capacity. Combining the reliability-calculating model of power system and calculating method of outage cost, a mathematical model that can optimize the reliability of power system is set up. Finally, a calculating sample of a city's power system is given and the optimized reliability and corresponding capacity are gained.
